We're Back! Frim Fram 2.0 returns May 12th

We are excited to announce that following our wildly successful The Comeback: 20th Framiversary celebration, Frim Fram is back with regular Thursday night dances as of May 12! We’ve got an earlier start time (8:30pm for both the FREE intro lesson and open dancing) and admission for our regular DJ nights is $15 ($12 with student ID). As always, check our calendar for the upcoming schedule.

As always, the NYC swing dance community remains our priority - that means we are focused on keeping Frim Fram as safe, accessible, inclusive, and fun as possible. Masks and proof of vaccination are required! See our updated Code of Conduct for more.

The new space at You Should Be Dancing...! Dance Center is gorgeous, brand new, and has everything you could ever want - the A/C is off the charts, water fountains with bottle filling stations, sprung floor! They’ve built it from the ground up and it’s spectacular. We're happy to be working with our friends over there again.

We are just getting started, and we will continue to evolve Frim Fram as we return to our regular schedule in the weeks and months ahead. Stay tuned for more announcements, special programming, and more.

Friends, dancers and Framily, we have missed you! NYC has been through a lot since we last got together way back in March 2020. We’re still going through a lot, but we’ve been hard at work behind the scenes to find a new home, and assess what we want Frim Fram to look like when we return for our next 20 years of dancing together.

We are still working on exactly what, when, and how that return will look like. We want to bring back everything that made Frim Fram "home" for many NYC swing dancers. We also want to take this opportunity to learn, adjust, and improve. As always, the NYC swing dance community remains our priority - that means when we do come back we are focused on keeping Frim Fram as safe, accessible, inclusive, and fun as possible.

We also need input from you, our community, to help us shape Frim Fram 2.0! Help us create the best event possible. We’ve created a survey, linked below, to gather the information we need to bring Fram back, better than ever. Please take the survey, and share it far and wide so we can get as much info as possible!
